In Verona we went to Il Pompiere for lunch. Il Pompiere is a killer lunch spot. The guy is out of his fucking mind. He has an ancient berkel slicer and about 50 cured meats and hundreds of cheeses.

Italy Trip – Il Desco in Verona

In Verona we went to Il Desco for dinner. Il Desco is really my favorite “ristorante” in Italia. I prefer Trattorie e Osterie mostly because they are traditional, micro-regional and usually family operated. Il Desco is finesse with tradition.
